Helen’s life was filled with many travels. Special occasions were always highlighted by her angelic voice singing the song Summertime, her personal favorite. Her generous heart filled her home with love, fun, great meals, and beautiful music. She especially cherished moments with her grandchildren and created beautiful memories that will remain with them forever. and son, James Lawrence Tricoli.Helen, affectionately known as GiGi by her great-grandchildren, enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, John Anthony Tricoli, Jr. She was born on Octoin Scranton, PA daughter of the late William James and Helen (Kohl) Tigue. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Gherardi and daughter, Carol Gallelli. She was well loved and respected by her neighbors and fellow volunteers. From 1996 to 2017 she was a dedicated volunteer at Winter Park Memorial Hospital, having volunteered more than 13,000 hours when she reluctantly retired in 2017 due to declining health. It was love at first sight for Walter who used to walk with her to the subway when she got her first job as a payroll clerk for Link Radio in Manhattan. Julia grew up in Corona, Queens, NY and in 1948 married the love of her life, Walter Gherardi. Julia was born in New York City, on Octoto the late Louis Dellagiarino and Lena Itzkowitz. Julia (Dellagiarino) Gherardi, of Winter Springs,FL, passed away at her home at age 92 on March 5, 2019.
